By using KidForge, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.
Welcome to KidForge (“we,” “our,” or “us”). KidForge is a family fintech platform that helps parents teach financial literacy to children through chores, savings goals, supervised investing, and educational quests. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KidForge platform, including our website (kidforge.com), mobile app, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy.

Clear definitions of all the terms used in this document.
To help you understand these Terms, here are the key definitions:
- KidForge / Service
- — The KidForge platform, web application, and all related services we provide.
- Parent / User
- — The adult (18+) who creates and manages a family account on KidForge.
- Child
- — A minor user (typically ages 6–18) who uses KidForge under parental supervision.
- Family
- — The group of parent and child users connected to one parent account.
- Content
- — Text, images, messages, and any material submitted or displayed on the platform.
- Beta
- — The current pre-release phase where the Service is offered free of charge with no real financial transactions.
Section 3
Eligibility and Registration
You must be 18+ to create a parent account. Each person can have only one account.
Section 4
Children’s Accounts
Parents create and manage children’s accounts. Children cannot register independently.

Service Description
KidForge offers chores, savings, supervised investing, quests, and gifts — all in a parent-controlled environment.

Beta Phase and Pricing
KidForge is currently in beta. The service is free for all users during this phase.

User Responsibilities
Use KidForge honestly, safely, and respectfully. Don’t misuse the platform.

Intellectual Property
KidForge, Sparky the mascot, and all platform content are our intellectual property.
Section 9
Limitations of Liability
KidForge is provided ‘as is’ during beta. We’re not liable for losses from beta limitations.

The processing of personal data is governed by the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679) and Portuguese Law n.º 58/2019. KidForge is the data controller for personal data collected through the platform.

Termination
You can close your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Dispute Resolution
We try to resolve disputes amicably. Portuguese courts have jurisdiction if needed.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll notify you of significant changes.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will:
- Notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect
- Display an in-app notification highlighting the key changes
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
- Provide a summary of what changed and why
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date.
